A bit about Me:
As a professional engineer with over 20 years of experience, Jocelyn has worked for major companies in Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
She holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, and a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies, all from the University of Saskatchewan.
Jocelyn’s master’s degree explored why the gender gap persists in the mining sector and engineering profession.
Dr. Jocelyn Peltier-Huntley completed her Ph.D. research as a Vanier Scholar at the University of Saskatchewan. Her Ph.D. project focused on advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the Saskatchewan mining industry and engineering profession through activating workplace allies, however, her findings are applicable to many Canadian workplaces.
